What we aim for

WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice: text contrast of at least 4.5:1, every control reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus outline, real labels on every form field, headings in a logical order, and animation that stops if your system asks for reduced motion.

One decision worth naming

Our brand indigo measures 4.47:1 against white, just under the standard. Rather than use it for text anyway, we use a slightly deeper indigo wherever readability matters, and keep the brighter one for large display type. They read as the same colour; one of them is legible for more people.
