Digital Crochet vs Mangomint

Both sides, from Mangomint’s own pricing page and ours. Including the parts where they win.

$49 to $349 a month · no per-staff fees · cancel any month

Straight answer first

What Mangomint is good at.

Mangomint is the most polished product in this comparison and the one we would recommend to a busy multi-room spa that wants everything to feel considered. Its onboarding is free and hands-on, its support is genuinely well reviewed, and it puts in writing something most of this industry avoids saying: no contracts, ever, and you can take all of your data with you when you leave.

If that describes you — a larger spa that wants a polished product and a person to set it up — buy theirs. The rest of this page is for the owner it does not describe.

Mangomint prices are its published $120 a month base plus $10 per user, for one location. Additional locations are $120 a month each.

Our column quotes the plan that size of business would buy: Starter at three, Growth from five up. Every plan has unlimited staff — the staff count does not force the plan. Starter has no packages or memberships; if you sell those it is Growth at $129 at every size, and Mangomint includes them at the prices above. Figures checked 17 September 2026. Read this part twice

Where Mangomint beats us.

Mangomint will move your data in for free, and says in writing that you can take all of it back out again when you leave. We cannot match either half of that today. Our client import is not built Coming, and neither is our export Coming. On the export row above, Mangomint wins outright: theirs is a published promise you could hold them to today, ours is a badge on a feature that does not exist. Both rows about moving your data go to them.

That matters more than it sounds. What keeps an owner on software they have outgrown is the fear of the move, and Mangomint has removed that fear in a way we have not yet earned. Their onboarding is free and hands-on; ours is a conversation and a spreadsheet.

Where we win is the bill, at every size in the table — $150 against $49 at three, $270 against $129 at fifteen — and nothing taken from your card sales.

Switching from Mangomint

What the move actually looks like.

Nobody in this market publishes this. Here is ours, including the part that is not built.

Day 1 — you keep taking bookings

Your Mangomint account stays open and stays the system of record. We set up your services, your hours, your staff and your New York tax rate, and you carry on as normal. Nothing switches today.

Day 3 — your clients come across Coming

Automatic client import is not built yet. Coming When it is, it will be free, and this is the day it runs. Until then we agree a date and move your list by hand, and we will tell you honestly how long yours will take before you sign anything.

Day 7 — you stop paying two bills

You work a full week on ours with Mangomint still open behind you. If the week goes badly you have lost nothing. If it goes well, you cancel Mangomint — month to month, so there is nothing to buy your way out of — and the second bill stops.

Your clients keep their history, their notes and their appointments. We never list them anywhere, never contact them on our own behalf, and never charge you for one of them booking with you.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

Is Digital Crochet cheaper than Mangomint?

Not at every size, and the table above says exactly where. Yes, at every size in the table, and we take no percentage of your card sales. But Mangomint will move your data for you and we cannot yet, which for a lot of owners matters more than the monthly difference.

What does “no per-staff fees” actually mean?

Hire a fifth stylist, a tenth, a fifteenth — the bill does not move. $49, $129 or $349 a month depending on the plan, whoever is on the floor.

Do you take a percentage of my card payments?

No, because we do not process them. You keep your own processor and your own rate, and we take nothing. That also means we cannot fix a bad rate for you — we are simply not in that transaction.

Can you import my client list from Mangomint?

Not automatically yet. Client import is not built. Coming When it ships it is free. Today we agree a date and move the list by hand, and we tell you how long yours will take before you commit to anything.

What is not built yet?

The AI voice agent, online booking pages, SMS reminders and win-backs, the AI assistant, client import, and payment processing of any kind. Every one of those carries a Coming badge everywhere it appears on this site, including on this page.

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month, cancel any month. There is no contract to buy your way out of and no cancellation fee.

See it before you pay for it.

Call or send the form. We’ll show you the app, answer the awkward questions, and you decide after that. Month to month, cancel any time.
